Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition console release date set
Larian Studios has told Eurogamer the Enhanced Edition of Divinity: Original Sin, AKA the console version, will be released 27th October 2015.
Owners of the original Divinity: Original Sin on PC will receive the Enhanced Edition free of charge as a reward for their part in making Divinity: Original Sin a success. Essentially everything has been tweaked a bit to make the game even better than it was before.
Divinity: Original Sin originally came out for PC in 2014, but it’s now been completely redone for consoles. It was successfully crowd funded in 2013 and went on to be a huge hit with critics. Along with an overhaul to the graphics and various new additions to the story, quests, etc. the Enhanced Edition will introduce split-screen co-op for players. It’s been a while since I played the original and the sequel has me quite intrigued with a few of the proposed features.
Enhanced Edition finally has a release date.
The changes are so severe, however, that it will exist as a separate game with beefier PC specifications and no cross-save compatibility.
Will you be picking up the Enhanced Edition when it releases later this month?
