DJ Khaled Goes Undercover as a Lyft Driver in Hilarious Video

DJ Khaled fooled Lyft passengers when he went undercover as a driver named “Billy” as part of the app’s new promo campaign.

The only problem was that most of his passengers immediately recognized him, gasping as soon as they got in the vehicle.

For those following Khaled’s wildly-popular Snapchat account, you’ll understand when we say it’s nearly too obvious that he’s a bit more famous than he’s leading on, making references to his love of jet-skiing and passion for maintaining his beauty regimen. He also told them that he’s a locksmith Get it? But then he shares that he “hates red lights” because “they want to slow us down”.

Since DJ Khaled is no longer Beyoncé’s opening act, he’s had to switch to Lyft driving. Because he’s got the keys. Really Khaled, that was the best name you could come up with?

Nevertheless, a few unwitting passengers fail to recognize Khaled, and he has a bit of fun with them when he tries to clue them into his identity by working his catchphrases into the conversation. “I met DJ Khaled and I’m freaking the hell out”, says one rider at the end.
