DNA sequencer sent to space station

Researchers initially wanted to use “extreme and bizarre” samples for the space experiments, but they eventually settled to well-sequenced and well-understood genome to make comparisons easy, said Sarah Wallace, from NASA’s Johnson Space Center.

NASA managed to create an alien uproar when it allegedly cut off a live stream from its the International Space Station (ISS) that supposedly showed a unidentified flying object traveling towards Earth.

A part of the live stream, uploaded on YouTube, shows a bright, small object entering the frame of the video and approaching toward the Earth’s atmosphere.

After the video went viral, CNET reached out to NASA for comment. We used a space-based data relay network. Occasionally the signal may sometimes get lost for 2 seconds to 2 minutes a day.

With the advancement and quantity of cameras, however, conspiracy theorists pointed out that space videos should have been of high quality and not the other way around. “What made it interesting was the camera cut off when the UFO seemed to stop”.

Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual says, “The constant ‘sightings” of UFOs near the ISS are mainly due to reflections and space junk, and it is down to wishful thinking that images sent back from the space station are of alien craft.

NASA Headquarters spokeswoman Cheryl Warner responded Friday to an inquiry about a video taken from the space station showing a bright light descending toward Earth. However, some reports suggested that the object may be Chinese space station Tiangong-1 that was launched in 2011 but a NASA spokesperson it may be some space debris.

The whole finger-pointing ordeal started after a video [embedded below] was published on YouTube on July 9 by one YouTuber Streetcap1 – the user who is known to post such videos relentlessly to prove a point that there are aliens and that NASA and US Government are involved in an elaborate cover-up.

Meanwhile, this was not the first time that NASA denied a UFO sighting through the live ISS feed video.

Despite having only discovered a fraction of our own planet and the fact that we are still finding new species hiding away in the most unexpected corners of the globe on a daily basis, humanity is still rather preoccupied with trying to find life on other planets, or in other galaxies – intelligent or not!
