Apparently, Katrina has to colour her hair red as the scripts demanded, so after not finding any professional in India, she ended up recruiting a London based hair colouring expert for which she has to fly down there every few months.

It was reported that Katrina coloured her hair red as her role in Fitoor demanded.

“I have said this earlier and I say it again…I believe until you are not married you are single”.

Praising her co-star, Katrina said Aditya has given a really good performance in the movie. It was a great idea put forward by Abhishek. I love our Indian Hair Industry and salute every stylist working their ass off and want them to know we are worth more! I learnt this very early in my career and therefore, I never allow such articles and news to affect me personally”, the actress said at a recent event in Mumbai, according to DNA India.

“Fitoor” is an adaptation of Charles Dickens classic novel “Great Expectations” and will have Katrina playing Firdaus, while Aditya Roy Kapur will portray the character of Noor.

Abhishek has also clarified that there’s no truth to the 55 lakh story.

The film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Lara Dutta and Rahul Bhatt.

Fitoor will release on February 12.
