‘Doctor Who’ actor Peter Capaldi tries out ‘LEGO’ Dimensions
It’s finally here – the first trailer for LEGO Dimensions to feature Doctor Who!
Although it was previously leaked – by Lego itself no less – it has now been confirmed that Doctor Who will be joining the cast of the game/toy collection Lego Dimensions.
Capaldi voices his famous character and expressed his feelings about being a game as he placed his game piece onto the LEGO Toy Pad.
Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle will team up with Doctor Who, The Simpsons, Ghostbusters, Jurassic World, Back to the Future and many more fan favourites in a mission to thwart Lord Vortech’s evil plan to collide all dimensions into one.
SAN DIEGO >> The star of BBC’s “Doctor Who” shocked fans late Wednesday night when he made a surprise visit to those waiting in line for the TV show’s panel at Comic-Con global.
“I’m proud to be the most unpleasant Lego character there’s ever been”, deadpanned Capaldi, who was jokingly told that his character was among the scowliest in Lego history.
Here’s the gameplay hook: when the 12th Doctor is defeated, he returns as the 1st Doctor and then regenerates back up to the 12th Doctor again.
Each Doctor will also have their respective TARDIS interior design from the show and the theme from their era will be playable on a jukebox inside.
Now we have a trailer dedicated to the iconic character and his blue phone booth that was released recently by Warner Bros.
Are you ready to play as a LEGO-fied version of Doctor Who? These can be physically built and then rebuilt twice for a total of three different objects.
Doctor Who will be playable in the LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack which will also feature a Doctor Who level “where the game’s heroes continue their quest while encountering Daleks, Cybermen and other adversaries from the Whoniverse”. Whereas a Doctor Who Fun Pack will include a playable Cyberman minifigure and Dalek model.
