Doctors fear Lamar Odom has significant brain damage as he can’t recognise

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kardashian revealed the extent of Odom’s brain injury, but said she will not tell him what caused the trauma for fear of slowing his recovery. “He’s learning to walk again, to feed himself and how to make sentences”, said his wife to Ellen DeGeneres.

Odom has been in hospital since he was found on October 13th semi-conscious at the Bunny Ranch brothel in Las Vegas.

TMZ reports the former professional basketballer can’t recognise his friends and family, and is finding “communication and mobility” hard.

Khloe, 31, added: “I just feel like it’s a really insensitive thing to fast forward a divorce”. “I can’t tell him how the brain injury was caused because it will set him back”.

“Lamar is family and he’ll always be family, we’ll always do what we can to help take care of him, and protect him, and be there for him”, Kardashian West said.

In addition to that, Odom reportedly “never asks why he’s here”. According to Us Magazine, he had mixed alcohol, herbal Viagra with cocaine, which proved fatal for him.

Khloe Kardashian also revealed that the divorce proceedings were scuttled with Lamar Odom’s coma.
