Documents seized from my office not related to CBI probe: Arvind Kejriwal
Escalating his attack on the Central government over CBI raids, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today claimed that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been directed to go after all Opposition parties and finish those who don’t fall in line. “The two chief ministers need to redeem themselves by publicly distancing themselves from Mr. Kejriwal’s vocabulary”, Jaitley wrote in a blog titled “Falsehood as Free Speech”.
The AAP’s claims of raid on Delhi Secretariat was no more about the DDCA irregularities which the Delhi government intends to probe, he said.
“The then UPA government seized upon the opportunity and referred the complaints to the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO)which investigated all his complaints over a period of time and submitted a detailed report on March 21, 2013”, Jaitley said in his post. A letter has emerged in which public prosecutor accused Kumar of threatening, misbehaving and warning him over the 2002 CNG fitness scam but Kejriwal turned a blind eye. “Our probe is part of a larger conspiracy and this is why we seized several documents and files which we found relevant”.
“They say that my choice of words were incorrect, but your actions are bad”.
Kejriwal’s Principal Secretary was questioned again by the CBI today in connection with a corruption case.
Kumar was not cooperating in opening in these emails till Monday night, following raids at his office and other places earlier in the day and the agency later took help of cyber experts.

CBI has, however, denied the allegations.
It is alleged that Rajendra Kumar formed a software company named Endeavors Systems Pvt Ltd along with some associates.
Kejriwal, a self-styled revolutionary, has also been pushing to be given control of the police force operating in Delhi in line with other state administrations.
Rawat said the raid started between 9.10am and 9.20am on Tuesday.
The CBI is building its case with the help of money recovered from Kumar and another co-accused and the financial transactions under scanner.
“They asked me to cooperate or face arrest”.
Addressing reporters outside the Parliament, parliamentary affairs minister Venkaiah Naidu said, “They (Congress) are doing research to find new issues to stall Parliament everyday”.
The CBI raids on the Delhi Secretariat have sparked an all-out war between the Delhi government and the Centre.
Mr Hazare, however, questioned the timing of the raid.
