Does ‘Logan’ have a post-credits scene or ‘Deadpool 2’ footage?

The answer is no – and yes. Probably because Logan isn’t a great tonal fit for Deadpool – and it would be pretty jarring to have this silly clip pop up at the end of the extremely serious Logan. That movie had an after-credits scene that introduced Cable as the villain for the upcoming sequel. Logan has a pre-movie scene.

Logan (aka Wolverine, but I’m just going to call him Logan because he’s all worn down and not really in peak mutant condition anymore) is retired from the action-hero game.

Comic book movies generally feature plenty of escapist fun, but the latest entry in the genre, “Logan”, is a dark and brooding film that plays more like an Oscar-bait drama than a fantasy adventure.

Set in 2029, Logan’s (Jackman) regenerative powers are slowing and he himself is a mere shadow of his former self. When a young mutant needs his help, Logan has to unsheathe his claws once more.

Director James Mangold returns as director after helming 2013’s part two The Wolverine. In Logan, Jackman pours it all out, leaving a legacy of a Wolverine that will likely never be matched. Jackman perfectly portrays Logan’s resistance to getting close to and caring about Laura, despite the fact she does seem very much like him – quiet, angry, and unsafe.
