The Easy Order button is available on the Domino’s website and app now.
The new “Limited Edition Easy Button” comes in its own mini pizza box and lets you to push for pizza in cases of emergency (y’know, you’re hungover/you’re hangry/it’s a Tuesday).
The latest device has been created by Stockholm-based IoT startup FLIC, which usually provides smart home hardware and software. Well, tough. Pizza lovers will not be able to buy the button but can win one via a social media campaign that kicks off next month.
Your favourite pizza. With only a minor extension of your chubby excuse for an arm.
Back in the day if you wanted to order a pizza, you’d either have to go to the restaurant and do a takeaway, or you’d have to call.
You can get yourself sorted by visiting the Domino’s website or download the app.
Ordering pizzas is an activity fraught with guilt.
“Plus there is an intrinsic satisfaction directly linked to pushing buttons, which is derived from the achievement and reward fulfillment process, which is inherent in each of us”.
The new button based new technology will appeal to customers looking for the fastest possible way to order and the company says it will lead to “friction free” ordering. But whatever. 2015 has already seen Domino’s make ripples by launching a service whereby customers could order simply by tweeting the pizza emoji to the Domino’s Twitter account.
