Donald Trump accuses Ted Cruz of fraud in Iowa caucus
Trump has alleged Cruz stole his win in Iowa.
Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson said he thinks Ted Cruz’s campaign’s “dirty tricks” may have affected the outcome of the Iowa caucuses.
Cruz’s campaign pushed a report Monday night suggesting that Carson was headed home to Florida, rather than continuing his campaign after the Iowa caucuses.
In attacks posted on his official Twitter account on Wednesday, Trump said “either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified” in Monday’s Iowa contest. Spokesmen for Cruz’s campaign, the Iowa GOP, and the Republican National Committee didn’t immediately return requests for comment.
“There are support groups for Twitter addiction, perhaps he should find his local chapter”.
The accusations stand in stark contrast to Trump’s concession speech, in which the brash billionaire struck a conciliatory tone.
“Having worked for the previous four Republican nominees for President, I know what it takes to not only win the Republican primary, but also to take on the Democratic Party machine and win the general election”, Duprey said in a statement. “I’m just honored. I’m really honored”.
He criticised the media for focusing more on Mr Rubio’s third-place showing than his second, calling journalists “miserable people” and encouraging the crowd to boo them. “It’s kind of odd”, he said. On CNN Newsroom Wednesday, Baldwin said “when Senator Cruz, with all due respect, tries to throw my network and CNN under the bus, let me stand up for my colleagues and journalists here…we reported it accurately”, she said on air. They do it professionally, I’ve never done this before. “It’s interesting that Marco came in third place and it’s one of the great victories in the history of politics. That’s a big factor and therefore I’m going to vote for him.’ And yet it is a big factor”.
“We finished second, and I want to tell you something, I’m just honored. I was actually semi-satisfied with it”.
Businessman Donald Trump continues to command a firm lead over the GOP field in New Hampshire, but Florida Sen. I think he will do very well in New Hampshire.
