Donald Trump and Barack Obama hold talks at the White House
Earnest said during the visit to Trump’s future home, the two moms discussed raising children in the White House.
The two sat side-by-side and President Obama emphasizes that they’re going to do everything they can to help the President-elect to succeed “cause if Trump succeeds, then the nation succeeds”.
“Mr President, it was a great honour being with you”, Trump said, calling Obama a “very good man”.
“The president-elect indicated a lot of interest and understanding the strategy of staffing and organizing the White House, and obviously that’s something that President Obama has thought about extensively during his eight years in office”, he said.

Obama too said that he was “encouraged” by their “excellent” and “wide-ranging” conversation, lasting over an hour. These two women in the same room for the first time is significant – and a tantalizing fan fiction waiting to happen, since there’s no video or photos of it. “I don’t know why”, he said.
Ryan took Trump on a tour of the Speaker’s Balcony overlooking the National Mall, the scene of Trump’s upcoming inauguration. That may be a less important question than what Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell will let him do.
The two families skipped a photo op of Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, arriving at the White House.
A large portion of the meeting was spent in discussions on properly staffing up and organising White House operations, he said.
As the current president and next president huddled, White House chief of staff Denis McDonough was seen walking near the Rose Garden with Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, who like Trump is also a real estate developer, and other aides.
