Donald Trump blasts ‘hypocrite’ rival for opposing gay rights but taking
Republican presidential candidate and Texas Sen.
“Everyone says they’re a conservative”, Cruz said. He’s still got Donald Trump troubles.
Both Cruz and Trump were campaigning Monday in New Hampshire, which holds the second contest in the country’s critical primary season.
Trump was being interviewed by the late Tim Russert on NBC in in 1999, and Russert asked about Trump’s support of abortion and gays in the military. “He explained that the key to understanding Donald Trump’s worldview is understanding that he is from New York City, from Manhattan, and those are the values and views that he has embraced his entire life”. In regards to their tight battle when it comes to the polls, Cruz stated that Trump is a bit “rattled” with the results most especially in some areas wherein Cruz would take the lead, “I guess as conservatives continue to unite behind our campaign as his poll numbers continue to go down, that seems to be – he’s a little testy”. Those are what NY values are, they’re not Iowa values, but that’s ‘New York values.’ So, that was Donald’s explanation of what NY values are.
“Ronald Reagan was a voice of consistency and I’m pretty sure that Ronald Reagan didn’t write checks and support Democratic politicians like Andrew Cuomo, like Anthony Weiner, like Hillary Clinton”, Cruz continued, The Blaze reports. But, she added, “I like Ted”. “In the rest of America, people know exactly what that means”: CNN. Cruz’s targeted attacks on Trump could work to his advantage, particularly in SC and the South. Trump’s attacks on Cruz could work to his advantage among blue collar voters if he can show a hint of deliberateness.
Adopting a mocking, sardonic tone toward Trump that would’ve been unthinkable even a week ago, Cruz presented South Carolina Republicans with the outline of what is likely to be his argument up until they head to the polls on February 20. “I live in New York City”. Trump says Cruz is a nasty guy.
“Nobody likes him”, he said. Nobody likes him. Nobody in Congress likes him.
“You know why? He wants to look like Robin Hood that he’s the one protecting the people from the banks while he’s actually borrowing money and personally guaranteeing it and not disclosing it, which is illegal”: ABC News. I would ask most Christians the question, “What is the first thing you do to become a Christian?”
The strategy is also driven by necessity, given Trump and Cruz’s strong standing in the early states.
Cruz calls it a “paperwork error” that he included the loans only on Senate personal financial disclosures, but not on the Federal Election Commission filings that typically get more attention before voters cast ballots. He has admitted what he says is an inadvertent error and will amend all the necessary forms, they argue.
Polls show Cruz and Trump locked in a tight race in Iowa, but Trump is polling considerably better in New Hampshire.
In the 2011 footage, from an interview with Texas radio host Duke Machado at a candidate forum while he was running for a U.S. Senate seat, Cruz insists, “The 14th Amendment provides for birthright citizenship”. If he really has a problem with NY values, then he should return that money.
“I’m campaigning on behalf of American values”.
“If I’m elected president, American sailors will never be on their knees to a foreign country”, he said.
“I think it’s very exciting, I think people in New Hampshire have a great role in this”, said Goffstown resident Steve Brzozowski.
“He turned out to be an absolute disaster because he gave us Obamacare”, the presidential candidate said.
