Donald Trump Calls Hillary Clinton ‘Liar’ Over Video Claim
Trump’s off-color comments about the Democratic front-runner at a campaign appearance on Monday night came a day after he called Clinton a liar for saying his proposal to ban entry of all foreign Muslims to the United States aided Islamic State’s propaganda efforts. I don’t know who’d be worse. In a matchup against Hillary Clinton, Trump would lose 47 to 40 percent. They had to start the debate without her, phase two.
Saturday’s Democratic debate in New Hampshire provided stark contrast to the Republican “fear and loathing in Las Vegas” imbroglio last Tuesday. They’re thrilled for his face to be the face of the GOP. Go a little louder, we can’t hear you, darling.
There is no doubt Donald Trump has been successful at galvanizing Americans around his campaign – but in doing so, is he also helping extremists recruit for their cause?
In a unusual segue in which he defended Russian President Vladimir Putin from widely reported allegations that he has ordered the killing of journalists, Trump went on to consider whether he himself would consider killing reporters, whom he then blasted as “lying disgusting people”. She will be prepared in 2016, and not just when it comes to debates.
Clinton quickly accepted the apology from Sanders, the independent senator from Vermont who is her closest rival in the Democratic race. After the first Republican presidential debate in August, Trump said of Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, one of the moderators, “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever”.
“We need to speak to what unites us as a people”, O’Malley said, “freedom of worship, freedom of religion, freedom of expression”. Yes, we could get rid of Qaddafi, a awful dictator, but that created a vacuum for ISIS.
He also said that Clinton was “crooked”, and “not a president”.
It brought the house down.
But, again, Sanders didn’t hit Clinton as a Wall Street candidate. Against Bernie Sanders, Trump fares even worse, with Sanders beating the billionaire 51 to 38 percent.
He also said he would tax auto companies that build cars outside the U.S.at 35 percent. “Are you saying that she [Clinton] was saying something that was truthful?”
I’m not sure why Sanders pulled his punches.
Additionally, 67 percent of those questioned – regardless of political affiliation – say Trump does not have the experience to be president and 53 percent say he does not have a good chance of winning in the general election.
Of course, the more certain path for any Democrat is to embrace the gift that is the Donald. “I’d never kill them but I do hate them”, he said.
