Donald Trump Invites Bill Clinton’s Former Mistress To The Presidential Debate
On the eve of the first presidential debate, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and her Republican challenger Donald Trump are in a virtual dead heat, according to the latest Washington Post/ABC News national poll. Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein were at 5% and 1%, respectively.
In the critical swing state of Colorado, Clinton is eking out a tiny lead of only one and a half percent over Trump in RealClearPolitic’s polling average in a four-way race, 40.8 percent to 39.3 percent.
Among a broader group – registered voters – Clinton and Trump are tied at 41%, with Johnson at 7% and Stein at 2%.
Trump and aides have said little about his debate preparation but say he is not following traditional procedures, opting to bat around ideas with aides at Sunday gatherings and review Clinton’s past debate performances.
Monday’s debate begins at 9 p.m. EST and will be moderated by NBC anchor Lester Holt.

Clinton has been plagued by questions in recent weeks about her health and honesty after failing to reveal that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia. Eight in 10 voters said they plan to watch the debate – with expectations slightly higher for Clinton, with 44% saying they expect her to win the debate while 34% expect Trump to win.
The former first lady abruptly left the ceremony in NY marking the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks after being affected by the heat.
Clinton backers were angered when Lauer repeatedly focused on her use of a private email server while serving as secretary of State. The New York businessman expressed support for the war in interviews at the time.
