Donald Trump is now joking about shooting people on the street
“I’m excited as I see so many large crowds at various events around Iowa”.
Donald Trump thinks his supporters are so devoted that he could “shoot somebody” on Fifth Avenue without losing any voters. Ted Cruz for president, Cruz’s campaign announced Saturday.
“The man owes America an apology, and he should ask conservatives in America for forgiveness”, Beck said.
Conservative radio personality Glenn Beck has endorsed Texas Sen. Beck also said that if Trump wins the presidential election, the aftermath will be “a snowball to hell”. You want somebody who’s bold?
He derided Trump as “a guy who has a bunch of strip clubs in casinos”, someone who projects nothing more than “showman faith” (he alluded to Trump’s unconventional pronunciation of 2 Corinthians). “I can say I have no intention of shooting anybody in this campaign”. “I imagine that you question somewhat yourself: Is this is it?”
On immigration, though, Cruz seemed to at first let loose, unveiling a set speech in the Hawkeye State that drew the most contrast he has yet with the Republican frontrunner.
CNN noted Saturday did not mark the first time Trump had joked about violence during his campaign: In December, Trump declared he wouldn’t murder any reporters, which Russian President Vladimir Putin has allegedly done, before raising his voice as if he were changing his mind. Any candidate who for 60 years has supported a “Bernie Sanders socialized medicine for all”, he said, there’s no chance he’ll repeal Obamacare.
Beck’s endorsement comes as Cruz and Trump increase their attacks on one another. “No legal disclosure and never sold off assets”, Mr Trump alleged. “He’s always crying”, Trump said. “Cruz? Soft. When they heard about this thing – that he was born in Canada, that nobody knew about? He’s gone down big in the polls”, Trump said. What we’re trying to do is educate the people in the state of Iowa. “To give that man the full power and scope of the office of the presidency is something we will grow to regret”. Marco Rubio. “He doesn’t get to pretend it’s not amnesty when he’s making 12 million people here illegally into 12 million US citizens”.
Rubio recently stepped up his Iowa campaign appearances in hopes of breaking Cruz and Trump’s hold on the state in an effort to put himself in a stronger position leading into New Hampshire’s February 9 primary.
