Donald Trump-Jeb Bush Twitter Fight
“Or I will take over”, he threatened.
Bush is in fifth place in the RealClearPolitics.com poll average at 4.8 percent behind Texas Sen.
Notably, Trump shared a photo that depicted Bush picking his nose.
On Monday, the former governor of Florida channeled his inner pro-wrestler, saying, “Donald, I’ll take you on one-on-one in a debate, any time, any place”. He praised America’s love of diversity by mentioning his new granddaughter is a “Mexican-Texan-Iraqi-Canadian-American”, but that when she reaches 21 and fills out a census form, “she’ll say, “not applicable. Candidates seem to go into the witness protection program on this issue”.
The Republican presidential candidate held his first post-Christmas campaign event at a Cuban comfort food restaurant here called Chico’s, where an amped-up crowd packed into the brick walls to cheer on their former governor. Many were encouraged to attend by the local Bush campaign operation, which had people on hand passing out “Jeb!” stickers to everyone who entered.
Bush reiterated his line that Trump is not a “serious” man but a “chaos candidate”. “Run country my way!”, he said, while on his feed, Bush was talking up an op ed about new threats to USA security and a Fox News appearance, as well as promoting relations with Israel.
Although he may have gotten off to a gloomy start with disappointing debate performances, Bush surprised everyone when he came in ready to battle it out on the floor during the fifth Republican debate in Las Vegas. “I think that we need somebody who is prepared to lead on day one”, said the congresswoman in support of Bush. As Bush has hewed toward a more moderate approach, candidates projecting an angrier profile, like Trump, have thrived.
“People are legitimately angry, but they should want solutions, rather than just have some people that identify with their anger and their angst”, Bush said.
“I like him because he is a nice person and everybody loves him”, supporter Lucy Orlando said.
According to the Politico, Bush said his plans for combating ISIL would be starkly different from Obama’s, which he described as “incremental” earlier in the month.
He also appeared to chalk up the question to an interest in Bush family psychodrama.
“I’m sick and exhausted of the politics of divide, the politics of destruction, the politics of anger”, Bush said.
