Donald Trump Projected To Win Indiana’s 11 Electoral Votes
On the day before the election, Donald Trump’s running mate Governor Mike Pence from IN made a campaign stop at the Duluth Airport.
The Indiana governor told a crowd of hundreds in Holland, Michigan, on Saturday morning that Donald Trump would push “commonsense conservative principles” if elected president.
“You got my vote”, Mrs. Pence said, embracing her husband before feeding her ballot into an electronic ballot box.
The voting between Republicans and Democrats is just about even with Republicans having an edge of less than 2,000 votes.
He specifically asked what Trump would do if he loses. “We have to begin listening to one another and respecting one another”, she said. “They’re going wait until the eighth”, said Evelyn Dupuis. He also criticized the federal health care law and touted tax cuts to boost the economy. He says the Republican nominee is “a man I’ve prayed with and gotten to know on a personal level”. On the presidential level, there is a stark contrast: Trump dominates outstate Minnesota, not just northern Minnesota, as has been widely reported, but just about all rural areas of the state. We need somebody who can stand up to the other leaders in the world like Russian Federation.
He said Trump has gained traction on several fronts. Stay safe on public property out of the travel lanes and have a good time waving your signs and urging passers-by to vote for Donald Trump for President.
“It’s a traditionally blue state”, Post said. “Bring that harvest in”. The candidate who wins the most votes in IN receives all of the state’s 11 electoral votes. He’s battling Republican U.S. Rep Todd Young for the seat being vacated by Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
Kim Morton, a 44-year-old stay-at-home mother from South Bend who usually leans Republican, says she couldn’t vote for Trump because of his negative comments during the campaign.
“We are leading in every national poll after another and we are going to win this thing”, Pence said at the airport at Michigan’s Cherry Capital Airport.
Supporters came from across Northern Michigan to hear him speak.
This stop one of the many Trump’s vice presidential pick made to West Michigan in hopes of sealing the deal for the Trump ticket.
Cruz joined Pence at a Thursday rally in the Kalamazoo area, a show of support after a bitter primary battle with Trump. About 60 percent of the state is expected to cast ballots before the election Tuesday.
Polls are showing Trump closing in on Clinton in key battleground states.
Many attendees at the event were calling Donald Trump’s campaign a “political movement”, like Mayra Joli, a black Hispanic immigration lawyer in Miami. Holcomb touted the state’s improved fiscal condition under 12 years of Republican governors, but largely avoided mentioning Pence’s name.
“Donald Trump is a victor because he’s the only one who has America at heart, the rest of the people on the ballot are protecting their own interest and protecting their jobs”.
