Donald Trump Reacts To Benghazi Hearings: Clinton ‘Sounded Terrible’
As Clinton made her way out of the building after her testimony to the House Select Committee on Benghazi, Thursday, a reporter wanted to know how she “kept her stamina up” for the hours of testifying.
Fresh off of an 11-hour testimony at the Benghazi Committee, Hillary Clinton addressed supporters today at a grassroots meeting in Alexandria, VA. Clinton was joined by VA Governor, Terry McAuliffe (D). But still, the fact that she didn’t get the requests “shows the culture inside of the organization that she created”, he continued. “How is she doing?” the Republican presidential hopeful asked radio show host Hugh Hewitt on Thursday night. He also said that Clinton’s reliance on long-time confidant Sidney Blumenthal was “odd”.
Mitt Romney’s son Matt took to Twitter on Friday to re-post two side-by-side shots of Katy Perry literally wearing her support for Barack Obama, as she’s sporting two skin-tight dresses that applaud the current President of the United States.
Far from a lesson learned, Clinton’s testimony likely reflects the beltway’s conventional wisdom on the matter, and that years later Benghazi could easily happen again in any number of places, with the attack only strengthening official resolve to meddle. They’re really going into it, and I’m just hearing she’s looking very bad.
The latest polls will give Donald Trump a lot to discuss on Monday’s “Today”.
“The whole thing sounded awful”, Trump said.
“You know, when I watched Trey Gowdy on, I think it was Face The Nation this weekend, it sounded to me like he was not going to go after her that much, Hugh, because he was sort of saying well, we have other people, and she’s just a small part of it. It sounded to me like he was pulling back. Maybe Biden did the wrong thing getting out yesterday”.
“Choose not to believe if you must”, he wrote.
