Donald Trump releases YouTube video outlining his first 100 days

Barack Obama once expected his last foreign trip as president to be a farewell tour to a world enjoying the fruits of a foreign policy he thought would last: an outstretched hand to peaceful Muslims, a strengthened alliance with Europe, a deal to curtail Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

“Prior to the election it was well known that I have interests in properties all over the world”, Trump tweeted Monday night. “You have to dispose of the assets first through an initial public offering or some other plan”.

GREENE: And so are there laws clearly governing this, or could some of these issues end up in court for judges to really sort out when it comes?

The business interests range from sprawling, ultra-luxury real estate complexes to one-man holding companies and branding deals in Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Panama and other countries, including some where the United States maintains sensitive diplomatic ties.

“You can’t have a scenario where the Trump Organization goes to the kids but the kids are also part of the administration”. It has apparently become a kind of place for, you know – like, a hangout place for foreign diplomats. This is Trump’s hotel. But for his son, building the Trump businesses (and yes, probably his net worth along with them) is his test.

Speaking during his final global speech as leader, he also said “reality will force him [Mr Trump] to adjust”.

Protests featuring chants of “Not my president” broke out in Richmond and other cities as disappointed supporters of defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton took to the streets in the days following the election to register their disapproval of the outcome.

That’s according to Jason Miller, a spokesman for Trump’s transition team. One of the biggest targets for the 45th president has been the media, which he believed has been against him since he started his campaign.

President-elect Donald Trump will spend Thanksgiving at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. He did say, however, on ABC that some aspects of the Islamic faith were problematic.

The policy announcement came after criticism over Trump’s inclusion of registered lobbyists on the transition team despite a campaign pledge to “drain the swamp” in Washington.

The U.S. president, who had been assuring world leaders about a Trump’s presidency until now, however, asked them to adopt a “wait and see” approach about the president-elect.
