Donald Trump Says He Has ‘Far Better Judgment’ Than Ted Cruz
Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) says he does not agree with fellow candidate Donald Trump’s idea to ban Muslims from entering US, but says he is uninterested in criticizing the frontrunner.
The Iowa caucuses are seven weeks away. Cruz said, according to The Times.
He’s followed by Cruz at 24 percent, Rubio at 21 percent, Carson 13 percent and Bush at 9 percent.
Here’s a look at how some of the top candidates are previewing their approaches to key issues ahead of the debates. “I mean I could be saying anything and he’d say, I agree I agree”, Trump said on CNN’s “State of the Union”.
The two politicians have largely avoided turning on each other until now.
While early in the week Cruz outwardly expressed a desire to continue playing nice with Trump, behind closed doors at a New York City fundraiser he questioned the New York real estate mogul’s “judgment” and “strength”.
However, Trump said the two must necessarily collide, even though Cruz has been “so fine to me”.
A FOX News poll, released on Sunday, gave Ted Cruz his third straight first-place finish among Iowa Republicans in the sizable field chasing the nomination.
By Sunday evening Trump still seemed miffed at Cruz, tweeting, “I was disappointed that Ted Cruz would speak behind my back, get caught, and then deny it. Well, welcome to the wonderful world of politics!” As The Telegraph reports, Trump recently told Fox’s Chris Mathews that Hillary Clinton’s policies have killed “hundreds of thousands” of people. Every state is vital, Trump told the crowd, because if he comes up just short in a brokered convention, the establishment will use it to keep him from being the nominee. She talks about me being risky. After asking Iowans “What the hell are you people doing to me?” and “How stupid are the people of Iowa?” Asked to elaborate, he replied that her work as President Barack Obama’s secretary of state resulted in many deaths in Iraq and Libya. And he panned Obama’s response to recent attacks in Paris, Mali and San Bernadino, California. Obama was president, the team.

“Every time the Des Moines Register does a poll, I always do badly”, he said. Do you have wisdom and judgment? I actually have a great relationship with people. What are you going to do about it? “You are going to have people coming in”. Bet you didn’t know that! According to that poll, he has 27 percent support nationally, while Cruz has 22 percent. Christie advocates reinstating the program and giving law enforcement and intelligence agencies more ways to track terrorism. To avoid them, Cruz has refused to seriously confront some of the billionaire’s most outrageous statements, and he has repeatedly said how glad he is to have Trump in the race.
