Donald Trump to spend millions on presidential ads
Jeb Bush (R) said Wednesday that President Barack Obama is to blame for Donald Trump’s dominance of the 2016 Republican presidential race.
And establishment candidates, including New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, are trying to ratchet up the pressure in New Hampshire, where the publisher of the influential Union-Leader published an editorial comparing him to the dimwitted villain in “Back to the Future”.
As a supporter at his Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, rally yelled out, “You’re special”, Trump replied that he was really taken aback by that support. Trump went on to explain how the former president has become one of the “greatest abusers in the world” and noted that he was one who abused women in “tremendous” ways. Whether or not ISIS is the greatest threat that we have in terms of the world, that’s debatable.
“There’s so much dishonesty in the media, and I like to call it out”, he said to the biggest boos of the event.
“It would be a mistake to assume that this is some pulling out of Iowa”, said Dave Kochel, Bush’s top strategist and a longtime Iowa hand. When you see the refugee challenges that partially created the tragedy in Paris, that’s a threat.
Trump said he had reviewed the first two ads, which touch on immigration, trade and national security policy. It would be having a servant’s heart.
