Donald Trump won’t bring Flowers to the debate, Mike Pence says

Trump’s campaign backtracked on Sunday morning saying the 66-year-old blonde had not been formally invited despite the Republican candidate’s tweet suggesting she would be.

After months of anticipation, the first Presidential Debate is finally here.

Reporters were barred from covering either meeting. “And I think one of the things Donald Trump has going for him is he’s got very good instincts”. There were perceptions that he favored Mitt Romney over President Barack Obama in 2012.

This election has had no shortage of controversy, particularly surrounding Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Trump’s almost-invitation to Flowers, which she gleefully accepted with a kiss emoji on Twitter, came after billionaire Trump troll Mark Cuban announced he would be in the front row of the debate. Flowers claimed that she and Clinton’s husband, Bill, had a long-term affair.

Rumors of a lengthy affair between Flowers and Clinton nearly derailed his 1992 presidential campaign. He acknowledged having caused pain in his marriage and went on to win two terms as president.

“Lester Holt’s – he’s a – he’s a respected, brilliant newsman”, Conway said on ABC’s “This Week”.

Clinton and Trump were expected to meet separately on Sunday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has sought to project neutrality in this year’s election. “The difference is, Hillary Clinton is doing it with a legitimate businessman and also a celebrity”.

It said Clinton’s decision to use a private email server for government work as secretary of state deserved the scrutiny it has received in the campaign, but considered alongside the real challenges facing the United States it “looks like a matter for the help desk”. In July, FBI Director James Comey said Clinton had been “extremely careless” but had not committed a crime.

It was the latest play in a weird bit of gamesmanship between the Clinton and Trump campaigns over the debate.

Clinton still has a more significant lead in the state’s aggregate.

Clinton’s aides, meanwhile, anxious publicly that Trump, a wealthy TV star and real-estate developer making his first bid for public office, would be held to a lower standard on the debate stage than Clinton, a former secretary of State who has spent decades in public life. She was spotted at a Westchester hotel near her home in Chappaqua, but her campaign would not comment on whether she was holding practice sessions at the hotel.

Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, in a separate “This Week” interview on Sunday, attacked Clinton’s trustworthiness.

Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks did not respond to a request Sunday for confirmation about Flowers.

Conway says voters deserve and expect a debate about issues such as the economy, health care, terrorism and national security. “Donald Trump less so, but tomorrow is an opportunity to see whether Donald will be specific about what he proposes to do”.
