Donte Stallworth: Tom Brady paid practice squad players who intercepted him in
Stallworth offered a fun fact about Brady in response to the story that Tannehill reportedly mocked Miami Dolphins practiced squad players when they intercepted him, telling them to “enjoy your practice squad paycheck”. Tannehill admitted that he said a few things to practice squad players that he shouldn’t have said, but he insists he never brought up money. “Honestly, it’s slanderous to report things that I didn’t say”.
Tannehill added: “Am I happy about everything I said?”
Tannehill went on to express his displeasure with the report.
Annoyed that defensive players were practicing aggressively during a workout that’s typically low-key the day before a game, Tannehill sarcastically told two players they would receive a “scout team trophy”.
“I’m upset”, he said. “No. I hold myself to a higher standard than to take a shot at something like that”. He also expressed frustration over a member of the organization leaking information that is supposed to stay in house. Everyone in this building works hard every single day.
“On top of that something from inside the locker room gets out, obviously that upsets me as well”.

“I was heated, I’m very passionate about this game”, he said.
“Center Mike Pouncey backed up Tannehill’s version of events, calling the report “[expletive]”.
