Doom Release Date Leaked by Amazon France
A final release date has yet to be revealed by Bethesda, but it seems like the game is going to be released sometime this June, at least according to a popular online retailer.
Id Software’s highly anticpated fast paced, ultra-violent Doom sequel/ reboot was formally announced and given a 2016 release window a year ago.
However Amazon France has since rectified it and now states that it will be released on the 31st of December, 2016 which is pretty much a placeholder date. Look buddy, Amazon France has posted a release date for the game, set for a June 30 release this year. Kotaku reported on the game’s troubled development in April 2013, and that id Software scrapped the game and restarted development in 2011.
There is no taking cover or stopping to regenerate health as you beat back Hell’s raging demon hordes. The French Amazon site has been known to leak release dates in the past, such as Rise of the Tomb Raider for PC, but for now this should just be considered a rumor until confirmed. Doom is planned to release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
