Downton Abbey Final Season Trailer Requires Tissues

Season 6 of Downton Abbey begins on ITV in the UK on September 20th and airs in the US on PBS in January.

New Downton Abbey season 6 first spoiler trailer clip released. The trailer touches the heart of nearly everyone who sees it for it gives more than a preview of what is yet to unfold in the season but it has given the fans a good look of each of the character that has become dear to them. Has Mr. Carson moved on to bigger and better things?

Created by Julian Fellowes, “Downton Abbey” is a British period drama that follows the lives of the Crawley family and their servants in the family’s sprawling country home in Northern England.

The trailer is downright emotional, with the sad music and Robert Crawley (played by actor Hugh Bonneville) telling Mr. Carson (Jim Carter), If I could stop history in its tracks, maybe I would. It’s popularity in Britain was perhaps a foregone conclusion but the show really took hold in the USA and overseas, becoming one of the most watched dramas in the world.

“Inevitably there comes a time when all shows should end and “Downton” is no exception”, he said.
