Dr. Ben Carson Says Gay Marriage Will Lead to Polygamy

Dr. Carson insists that this book tour is not part of his campaign for president and has ordered his staff to keep the two totally separate as he debuts the book in book stores and online sellers across the country.

That being said, Watt doesn’t think it’ll be a problem for the campaign that much, since he’ll still be out there talking about the issues. “Famed neurosurgeon Ben Carson is doing so for a book tour”, gasped the Huffington Post. “Will he skip any campaign events next year for the paperback version?”

Carson’s next public campaign appearance will be on October 28, the day of the next Republican debate. “I wouldn’t just take a fatalist view of things”.

Ben Carson’s presidential campaign accused ABC News on Thursday of incorrectly reporting that he will temporarily “suspend” his campaign to go on tour to promote his new book, A More flawless Union.

In fairness, Carson has climbed within striking distance of Donald Trump this month despite holding nearly no public events. I don’t see a hurt for him unless he allows guys like Cruz and Rubio and Huckabee to start picking up his space while he’s out of the state of Iowa….

But even if one believes that Carson and Kopel are wrong, how could one characterize Carson’s comments as “anti-Semitic” or “blaming the victims [the Jews]”?

In continuing his comments, Carson reiterated his controversial belief that the core tenets of Islam as found in Sharia Law are incompatible with the American Constitution because they “subjugate women in a pretty substantial way” and punish by death acts of “adultery and homosexuality”. I wonder if he also goes to KFC to get coleslaw.

Don’t expect Carson to retract anything he’s said, though. But candidates cannot convert campaign funds for personal use, including for a book tour. Now that Carson, one of the pre-eminent brain surgeons in America, has become a viable candidate for president, the left has labelled him everything very bad it can come up with.

The candidate has made “over 100 media appearances (radio and TV) since the book was released”, according to ABC News.

I think we have a chance to certainly do everything that we can to ameliorate the situation, to provide – I would always be shooting for peace.
