Drake On Meek Mill: Don’t Worry He’s Dead Already
Drake later got back at Meek Mill by dropping his own tracks and causing social media to go up in flames at his lines. The Toronto native released two diss tracks aimed at the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania rapper in the form of “Charged Up” and “Back To Back Freestyle”.
Meek lashed out at Drake on Twitter in July, claiming he refused to promote Meek’s recent album “Dreams Worth More Than Money”, despite featuring on it, after being confronted about using other writers.
Meek Mill did eventually respond with the diss track “Wanna Know”. “And not have anything to put forth on the table?”
“You hate your life, just be honest”, Drake raps, before explaining that Meek reminds him “of a quarterback, that s*** is all in the past”.
Watch Drake tell his fans that Meek Mill is “already dead” during his concert in D.C. on Saturday in the video below and tell us your thoughts on Drake and Mill’s ongoing feud.
“I wasn’t thinking like, ‘Oh man, I gotta get my brand up in Nigeria.’ Not to say that’s not important”. “I need, sometimes, individuals to spark an idea so that I can take off running”. If I have to be the vessel for this conversation to be brought up-you know, God forbid we start talking about writing and references and who takes what from where – I’m OK with it being me.
Mill and his girlfriend Nicki Minaj also talked about the beef with Drake in a GQ interview.
The scene was Drake’s headlining performance at the Landmark Music Festival at the National Mall in Washington DC.
