Drake Performs with Section Boyz in London

Shortly after his live performance with Rihanna at the 2016 BRIT Awards last night (February 24), Drake took to Instagram to announce that he has “signed” to British grime label Boy Better Know.

It’s no secret that Drake loves a bit of United Kingdom grime, but when he rocked up to the Section Boyz” Village Underground show, singing ALL the words to their tunes as well as performing “Jumpman’ off of his mixtape he left the crowd roaring for more. As captured by fans on social media, Drizzy ran through a few of his hits while flanked by The Section Boyz and others onstage.

While not yet confirmed by the label’s reps, this record deal marks his latest showing of appreciation. They also joined forces for BBK artist Wizkid’s Ojuelegba Remix track, while Drake invited Skepta to be a special guest at his Wireless Festival gig in London last summer (15).

Which begs the question… what does Drake want with a UK Grime label?
