‘Drunk’ Passenger Gets Tied Up With Seatbelts After Incident On Flight
Around half a dozen passengers subdued the man after he reportedly became abusive towards a woman sitting across from him, said the Russian news channel Vostok Media. Siberia Airlines’ reputation would have taken a serious hit had the drunken passenger physically attacked anyone in the plane.
While the video certainly portrays a man who isn’t exactly behaving himself, the barage of kicks and punches he receives was probably a bit over the top.
A visibly inebriated Pautov, dressed in a red T-shirt, is seen to be arguing with a seated passenger when he is confronted by another man.
Footage of the incident shows a group of three or four men overpowering another passenger.
He was taken into police custody when the flight landed, but has since been released.
Shouts of “beat him” rang out as the man was restrained. The unruly passenger remained tied up for the rest of the flight.
The 30-year-old is facing one count of public intoxication and one count of disorderly conduct.
