Duchess of Cambridge Makes First Solo Appearance Since Giving Birth
Most pupils will only spend a couple of terms at the school, where Sky News was given access ahead of her visit.
She looked absolutely fabulous during her visit to the Anna Freud Centre in London today.
Ever since seeing Kate cradle the gorgeous Princess Charlotte on the steps of the Lindo wing we haven’t seen much of the Duchess of Cambridge – yes, there were a few glimpses at Wimbledon and at the polo but today she is BACK!
“I imagine it’s because she’s a mum herself, she has compassion for families and kids who are suffering in difficult situations”.
The Anna Freud charity is also setting up a centre of excellence for training to encourage a more family-focused approach to child mental health issues, and make sure all sectors work closer together.
Sitting opposite their son or daughter, they listened as the youngsters evaluated their own actions over the day.
As she did with her first two pregnancies, Middleton lost the baby weight in record time, thanks to a low-carb diet and yoga workouts, Celebrity Health & Fitness reported. In 1952 she founded The Hampstead Clinic, the first child psychoanalytic centre for observational research, teaching and learning and it was renamed in her honour when she died.
It is soon to embark on a major £25 million redevelopment of its site to create a comprehensive home for its school and other departments in one place.
“The visit reflects The Duchess’s interest in child mental health issues and the importance of early intervention and working with the whole family to provide children with in-school mental health services”, Kensington Palace said in a statement.
Brenda McHugh, another co-founder, added: “Anybody who can help with de-stigmatising mental health – that’s got to be good”.
