Starbucks released the holiday cups earlier this month.
Mayor de Blasio wants Donald Trump to chill when it comes to red coffee cups from Starbucks. “Now, Starbucks is completely devoid of any trace of the holiday besides the Christmas tree ornaments, advent calendar, CDs of Christmas music, Christmas-themed gift cards, Christmas cookies and giant displays of their Christmas Blend coffee”. Trump said. “But they don’t have ‘Merry Christmas, ‘ they have ‘Joy'”.

Starbucks’ vice president of Design & Content, Jeffrey Fields, said of the new cups, “In the past, we have told stories with our holiday cups designs”.
Acknowledging the discontented parties, presidential candidate Donald Trump casually suggested a boycott of the coffee chain.
