“Ice cream is”, Hernandez began before pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy chimed in, “just a combination of the best flavors ever!”
Other highlights of the evening included a raunchy dance by Johnson and pro-partner Lindsay Arnold to “Hotel California”.
With Jana Kramer getting the boot on Monday night, it was down to three contestants: James Hinchcliffe, Calvin Johnson Jr. and Laurie Hernandez. Flawless choice for the fusion dance, Viennese Waltz and Foxtrot are the dances you do so well. “You are a terrific dancer”. She’s in a tough spot this week, though, because her partner Gleb Sachiko is sick with the flu.
The latest episode of “Dancing with the Stars” finally concluded as the ABC show announces its new title holders.
Despite their setbacks, they impressed the judges with a series of performances that were very diverse in style, including a scorching tango that ranks among the hottest dances in the history of the competition, which earned them a flawless score that week.
Calvin and Lindsay were given a Quickstep and Jive. According to Laurie, her goal was to inspire others and she sure did inspire a lot with her talent and passion for her craft. The celebrities will dance some of the most memorable routines of the year once more again. The duo also got four flawless 10s from the judges.
Hernandez, who has been a frontrunner since the beginning of the season, thanked everyone for their support.
However, Hernandez had a pretty much flawless performance.
During her critique of Kramer’s freestyle routine, judge Carrie Ann said she has a ton of respect for the singer/actress because ‘she came into this competition as the underdog’. Julianne said it was anyone’s game, as every couple nailed it. It was two hours long and could really be a half hour and call it good!
Was the kudos from judges enough to give James the win and shock viewers who thought Laurie would walk away with the Mirrorball trophy?
