Dying Light’s getting an “Enhanced Edition”
Techland has announced Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition is scheduled to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 9th, 2016. One year after the original release, Dying Light will be bigger than ever.
Development of Dying Light: The Following appears to have entered its final stretch, now that Techland has given us a firm timeline for the Dying Light expansion’s debut, and an upcoming content bundle will make it cheaper than ever for outsiders to join the Dying Light community. The enemies in the game, which mostly consist of zombies, are also going to be improved and when the extended edition lands they will have new attack patterns and behaviors.
The result is basically an entirely new game, and it will also include all of the DLC to date as well as the major new expansion, The Following. A free Improvements Update will coincide with The Following’s release, which will introduce new parkour moves, improved AI, a new difficulty setting and various new systems.
Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition is coming to PC on February 6. If you’re still unsure on whether you register for the free upgrade or not, Techland have fortunately offered a helpful diagram to help players determine which group they fall into which you can view here. The game’s improved version which will be called as the “Enhanced Edition” is expected to be rolled out next year. This package comes with all the available bonus content, including Dying Light: The Following – a massive story-based expansion that brings mysterious characters, deadly new weapons, unexpected quests, and fully customizable and drivable dirt buggies. Dying Light Enchnced Edition will be available for $59.99/€59.99.
