‘Dying Light: The Following’ & Enhanced Edition DLC Release Date: 250
Alongside this release, Techland will unleash the zombie-infused title’s large-scale expansion, Dying Light: The Following, which can be purchased at retail (with the Enhanced Edition), separately through digital means, or as part of the game’s Season Pass.
Dying Light: The Following will not only bring with it a whole new chapter, but also a plethora of enhancements that will be available via a free update for all players. “Additionally, there are new player emblems, outfits, and weapons that are unlocked by reaching certain Legendary levels”. It bears some striking similarities with Diablo 3’s very own Paragon leveling system, which was also added as a patch.
In the new video, Techland’s lead game developer for Dying Light unveiled that once a player has maxed out all the skill trees they will gain access to these Legendary Levels. “Once it’s unlocked, every experience point gained from activities such as missions or killing the undead goes towards unlocking another Legend level”, according to a report from Tom’s Hardware. Legendary Levels are one of the ways in which we’re making the post-game content more meaty.
Dying Light is getting a spruce-up and a facelift next year. In 2016, gamers will get to play the much anticipated “The Following” DLC that adds the biggest map yet, vehicle gameplay, and a new cult-focused storyline.
