E3 2016: Just Dance 2017 Announced, Coming to Nintendo NX
The French game publisher’s Just Dance 2017 will ship on a variety of platforms, including the NX, said Xavier Poix, managing director of Ubisoft France, during a press event. The game will feature all new songs, new artists and new graphics.
Speaking at E3, Ubisoft EMEA head Alain Corre said that they expect the Nintendo NX console to recapture some of the Wii fans that passed on the Wii U. This includes flamenco, ballet, and even cancan. The Just Dance Unlimited Streaming Service was also revealed, which will bump the players song library up by more than a massive 200 additional tracks.
Just Dance will be making another return engagement on Nintendo systems this fall.
Just Dance 2017 will hit the dance floor on Xbox One and Xbox 360 this coming October. It’ll come to the NX next year, though an exact date wasn’t specified.
The expectation is that the Nintendo NX will be officially launched in March 2017, so it could have been ideal for the Kyoto-based company to have announced it in E3.
