Eagles, Bengals trying to find footing for final month

The 3-7-1 Bengals are one of the league’s biggest disappointments this season as they’ve struggled all year on the offensive line, with the run game and nearly everywhere on defense where it appears they may have aged very quickly. Those numbers put him fourth on the team overall, but second at the receiver spot behind only Jordan Matthews’ 57 for 686. Cincinnati has lost its biggest offensive weapon in A.J. Throwing check downs to the middle of the field and running back swings out to the sideline is a waste of where the Eagles are at this point in the season.

Throughout 2016, the wide receivers for the Eagles have under-performed, to say the least.

Cincinnati rushed for only 64 yards last week and Dalton has struggled to find timing with his other receivers, sans Green, who did not practice Wednesday and is listed week-to-week with a strained hamstring.

The issue isn’t so much of who’s on the roster now for the Eagles, but it’s more about what their roles should be.

Relying on the passing game might be a poor decision Sunday.

“We brought this on ourselves”, Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones said. Expect this game to stay low scoring. They had halftime leads in all of their victories, and halftime deficits in five of six losses.

The Eagles need to figure out what Carson Wentz is capable of doing on the field.
