Eagles LB Jordan Hicks out for season with torn pectoral tendon

In hindsight, it wasn’t that hard to anticipate that Sam Bradford might struggle a bit in his first games as quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles.

And though he was learning the offense and getting re-acclimated to game speed, Bradford had to learn to throw the ball to an entirely new array of teammates. Situations where good teams step up and win, putting the game away. Seven weeks later, the team’s postseason hopes could ride on the rematch. He could go out there right now and run it. He has that kind of a football IQ. Bradford’s week nine performance was his best of the season. It feels like Bradford is slowly trending upward, which comes at a good time.
