Early Voting Underway In Tennessee
The polls will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m.to 8 p.m.
Voters may register by mail, at their county, city or township clerk’s office or by visiting any Secretary of State office. Voters will be able to choose between 14 Republicans and three Democratic candidates for president, depending on which primary they are voting in.

Tennessee is one of six states participating in “SEC Primary”, so named because they all have college teams in the Southeastern Conference. They also say there is no need for the law because there’s little evidence of voter fraud; something Republicans said was their motivation to get the law passed.
Early voting runs Mondays through Saturdays and ends Tuesday, Feb. 23.
If you can’t return to your polling place the same day, you have until 4 p.m. on the Friday after Election Day to visit your local municipal clerk’s office to show your ID.
Dane County officials are also ramping up efforts to educate voters, including the re-release of its humorous voter education video on YouTube with Chad Vader, the younger brother of Jedi knight slayer Darth Vader, being told he needs an ID to vote. Click on departments, town clerk, absentee ballot and then on absentee ballot application for election or primary.
Broward voters won’t have as long a period for early voting.
The most common forms of acceptable identification include a Wisconsin drivers license, state issued ID card or passport.
“Check your county’s website as far as where your precinct is, because on Election Day you must vote at your precinct”, Villane said.
