EastEnders’ Kellie Bright tops Strictly Come Dancing semi-final leaderboard
Referencing the incident judge Craig Revel-Horwood said “Jay, that was brilliant [but] I didn’t know whether you meant to drop Aliona or [whether it was] a style choice”. I thought it was a fantastic routine’.
Newark’s Jay McGuiness has made it through to the final round of 2015’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Earlier this week, gorgeous former Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote told her Twitter followers that she was unwell, prompting concern that she might not be up to performing in this weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing semi-final.
Each couple have to perform two dances on Saturday night’s show so team GG have done lots of preparation for their Viennese Waltz and Cha Cha routines.
And whilst they’ve kept tight-lipped on what dance they will perform instead, Aliona let slip which dance the judges had chosen for them to perform.
He previously said: “After ten years of Strictly they’re scraping the barrel for who they can get to do it. People are going, U’mm, I don’t Think anyone fancies that”.
TV presenter Anita Rani and Gleb Savchenko’s foxtrot to Frank Sinatra’s New York, New York was a crowd-pleaser.
He scored 71 points from judges from a possible 80 and the public vote also put Jay through to the last week.
Unfortunately for the Glad You Came hitmaker, Georgia is so loved-up with her handsome beau she’s previously said he’s “the love of her life”.
“Plenty of attack, however you lost a little bit of the salsa rhythm”, said Goodman.
Meanwhile, her Strictly pro-dance partner Giovanni Pernice, who is evidently a fan of the exclamation mark, tweeted, “What a hard week!!”
“It wasn’t slick enough”. The judges were still not bowled over and Derham ended the night bottom of the leaderboard.
