Easygoing Joe Biden remains loose about 2020 White House bid
When asked by reporters for what position, Biden responded, “For president”.
In a recent interview at a Capitol press conference, Biden more than hinted at a 2020 presidential run.
While we are hoping that Biden truly does run for president in 2020, social media has been going insane since his announcement. He said, “I didn’t run for one simple overarching reason”.
“For president”, he added, “What the hell man, anyway”. Biden was later chosen to be Obama’s running mate and would later serve two terms with the President.
Biden, a possible record breaker!
Mr Biden will be 77-years-old on election day in 2020, three years older than President-elect Donald Trump.
Biden was more than 30 minutes late to the meeting but still stayed for more than an hour, saying he wanted to continue to help Democrats – and working people – over the next four years under a Trump administration.
Over the next few months, some members of the Democratic Party urged Biden to step into the primary, but the vice president ultimately decided against it. The bill was in part dedicated to his son Beau, who died of brain cancer a year ago. “What I’ve learned a long time ago is to never say never, you don’t know what’s going to happen”.
“It happens to every family, but I’m telling ya: This bad feeling you’re having right now, it’s not permanent”, Biden reassures. He later hit the campaign trail in support of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. With Joe Biden already throwing his hat in the ring, the 2020 Presidential Election is already shaping up to be a major event. Arizona Sen. John McCain was reelected this year at 80, but running for the Senate as an incumbent is quite a different thing than running a national presidential campaign.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says it would be a awful precedent to put expedited procedures for confirming President-elect Donald Trump’s defense secretary pick in a stop-gap spending bill.
