He further said that election schedule for NA-122 by-election was announced on August 26.

“PML-N not for once has done anything which can be justified. PTI teams would review the lists and bring the facts to the public”.

Mr Tareen stated that PTI had pointed out the irregularities in the voter lists at each stage and the party will announce its strategy for the upcoming election after complete investigation into this matter.

The committee will be headed by Shoaib Siddiqui and comprise of MPA from PP-148 Mian Aslam Iqbal, Anees Ali Hashmi Advocate, Mehar Wajid, Mehar Fayyaz and Khurram Qureshi. Ishtiaq Ahmad Chaudhry of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has filed the petition under Section 52 of Peoples’ Representatives Act 1976.

In his address to the party workers, the PML-N winning candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said his victory is the hat-trick by a petty worker of PML (N) against the PTI Chief. He prayed the tribunal to order vote recount.

“Imran Khan impeached baseless allegations on Pakistan army”, PML-N leader claimed. He said that it was for the first time in Pakistan’s history that a Speaker won 2 elections within 2 and half years.

Ayaz Sadiq said he will feel his victory truly on the day when Imran Khan will join hands with PML (N) Government for a better future of Pakistan.

PTI faced defeat in NA 144 and NA 122.

Talking to reporters here, Information Minister Pervez Rashid asked Imran Khan to leave negative politics and do positive politics for the betterment of the country. He also advised PTI chief to train his young supporters the way he trained his own sons so that they learn how to behave and talk decently about the elders.

Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan Wednesday said the PTI leadership must take up constructive politics in the larger national interest.
