Ed Helms and Owen Wilson are ‘Bastards’ in First Trailer
He was the director of photography for all the Hangover movies, as well as the recent Jonah Hill-Miles Teller movie War Dogs. But you can imagine the movie may end with the brothers discovering it doesn’t really matter if they’re happy with their lives. Who do you think is the father? Welcome to the first trailer for Bastards.
This trailer has a lot of fun with overly graphic decisions of Close’s sex appeal, delivered with relish by Bradshaw and Rhames, but I hope their dad turns out to be Simmons.
Ed Helms and Owen Wilson are men in search of answers in the new trailer for the upcoming comedy film, Bastards. He’s great at playing terrifying, and seems like just the guy to get these two knuckleheads in line.
Their mother, played by Oscar-nominee Gleen Close, tells them their father died when they were young. The proof will be in the pudding, as Bastards is released on January 27th 2017.
The plot of the film, according to IMDB, is, “Upon learning that their mother has been lying to them for years about their allegedly deceased father, two fraternal twin brothers hit the road in order to find him”. But there’s enough in Lawrence Sher’s directorial debut Bastards to keep the intrigue level high. What if your real dad has been football legend Terry Bradshaw all along?
Rounding out the cast are comedian Katt Williams, Oscar nominee June Squibb (“Nebraska”), Kate Aselton (TV’s “The League”), and Ving Rhames (the “Mission Impossible” films).
