Ed Sheeran at Croker: ‘Bloody hell that was mental’
Ed Sheeran plays the second of two sold-out gigs at Croke Park tonight, and fans have certainly not been left disappointed.
Sheeran, who’s a fan of The Dubliners, gave quite a decent bash at playing the song alongside Kodaline, but the real highlight of the night was Jason Boland’s surprise proposal to his longtime girlfriend, Etaoin Corr.
Jason’s long-term girlfriend said yes, and the happy couple posed for photos on their way to the after party with Etaoin showing off her brand new sparkler.
Ed, you should probably bring out a line of themed engagement rings.
“Thank you to Kodaline and Glen Hansard for joining me on stage today to sing some tunes”.
At the show, Sheeran, Hansard and Kodaline performed Irish classics “Molly Malone” (also known as “In Dublin’s Fair City”) and “The Auld Triangle” together. “And congratulations to Jay, what a way to propose!”
Last night Kodaline made an appearance, much to the delight of the pumped up crowd.
