The “Shape of You” singer has been dating his schoolfriend Cherry Seaborn for 18 months and though they rarely spend any time apart, things couldn’t be better between them.

The band took to Twitter last night to give the people what they wanted in the form of their new single, “We Couldn’t Fake It”.
Sheeran’s second ode to Ireland appears as a love story about his grandparents marrying in Wexford, where his granny still lives, told through the eyes of his grandfather. While it could be one of the album’s sweetest tunes lyrically, Sheeran made a decision to turn it into a folky tune, with an Irish flair reflecting his grandparents’ heritage.
“My song Don’t isn’t very relevant to my fans”.
He revealed: “I stayed inside for four months”. A chorus backs up him to fill out the sound and turn the chorus into a chant.
“Shape Of You” and “Castle On The Hill” have since been certified 2x-Platinum and Gold respectively by the RIAA, becoming the first two songs released in 2017 to receive certifications this year. It is also in peak position on the Hot 100.
