Eddy Cue continues Apple’s enterprise tour, shows off iPad Pro at Dropbox
This prompted many to believe that the new iPad isn’t worth the fuss. However, we are inclined to disagree with this statement.
Complementing the larger 12.9in display, this appears to be Apple’s attempt to bridge the gap between its iMac and iPad ranges, enabling both creatives and business professionals to get more done with their tablets. There’s one for Skype, Evernote, a few newspaper apps, plenty of games, and of course all of the Microsoft apps including a few that sync up with your Xbox One, but I can’t think of a single touch app that’s groundbreaking or brand new for Windows 10 and runs in tablet mode.
The iPad Pro has a 12.9-inch screen display with a resolution of 2732 x 2048. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Apple iPad Pro, both devices are a Pro model, and both have their own special features that make tech savvy unable to take their eyes off these two high-end tablets.
One such report points to ongoing training on the iPad Pro for Apple Care staff in Apple stores, which is said to be completed by November 6. With the introduction of pressure sensitivity within the stylus, users can now sketch, write, and make drawings. During the interview, Cue brought out an iPad Pro to show off on stage, and teased the audience, asking them to look under their chairs to find nothing underneath. Apple surely has made it easier for many to express their creativity.
The Pencil will allegedly let users “touch a single pixel”, and is rechargeable, connecting directly to the device’s Lightning port. The Smart Keyboard attaches via a Surface-style connector on the side, and features a full-size keyboard and stand. We urge only those who wish to input ridiculous amounts of text data into the iPad to shell $149 for the accessory.
As for Microsoft’s Surface Book, the fact that it can also be used as a tablet – which means that the screen gets detached and operated as a different system – kind of complicates things when it comes to battery. The Sleeve is a lightweight ballistic nylon, impact-resistant carrying case for the iPad Pro.
Despite the best estimates, it doesn’t seem like the iPad Pro will be released this November 6, but instead will be released next Friday, November 11.
For pricing concern, the forthcoming iPad Pro bears a price tag that starts at $799 for the version that includes 32GB Wi-Fi and for the model that has a 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular, it will be available at $1,079.
