Samsung Galaxy C7 has a new metal body design with streamlined body curves and edges for a subtle stylish appearance.

The main reason for the redesign is the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7, which sports a USB Type-C connection that isn’t compatible with last year’s Gear VR model.

Production problems for the curved displays for the Galaxy S6 edge phone resulted in disappointing sales past year, and some investors fear a repeat if the world’s top smartphone maker does not move quickly to meet Note 7 demand.

Other features include 4 GB for RAM and in the internal storage department it has 64 GB which is expandable through a microSD memory card. The slot was controversially missing in the Galaxy Note 5. The update, which had the build number A500FUXXU1CPG2, was for the SM-A500FU model and brought about new features that are associated with Marshmallow as well as the latest security patch. It has the S7-series 12-MP rear camera, which captures good images, especially in manual mode. Both cameras have Auto HDR capability.

Power: The Chinese handheld is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 that runs on an impressive 6GB of RAM.
