El Chapo Reportedly Bumped the Bounty on Trump to $100 Million
He hired more security personnel and now wears a bulletproof vest when he campaigns.
Various news websites report El Chapo is still infuriated by Donald Trump’s racists remarks against Mexicans and Mexico.
The world’s most unsafe drug lord, Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, who escaped from a Mexican prison previous year, is allegedly offering the sizable bounty to whoever brings him Donald Trump, dead or alive.
Trump apparently overreacted to the tweet by calling the Federal Bureau of Investigation and asking for protection.
Guzman’s ire stems from Trump’s presidential announcement speech on June 16 when he warned that Mexico was sending its criminals to America, including rapists and murderers as well as drugs.
In fact, he’s so upset about Trump’s comments that he’s willing to pay $100 million (€88.7 million) to anyone willing to get Trump to him. He may be in hiding, but he’s still making sure he gets things done his way, by putting a bounty on Donald Trump’s head.
The kingpin’s second jail collapse was a us exasperation, and of course the humiliate has likely deepened once peace of mind footage have reported what the watches were usually doing when you’re El Chapo have been lost from his lodge. El Chapo’s lawyer, Juan Pablo Badillo, later said in a court filing that the fugitive’s alleged threats were fabricated, according to Forbes.
Trump is quoted as saying to an audience during his recent campaigns “can you envision Jeb Bush or Hilary Clinton negotiating with El Chapo … Kick him around like a soccer ball?”
However, a little bit more discreetly, Trump asked the FBI to investigate the alleged death threats made by El Chapo against him.
Mike Vigil, a retired U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration operations chief, spoke out previously stating that if Guzman was not recaptured within two days of his escape he may never be found.
Despite his daring words, Trump has taken El Chapo’s threats seriously and has taken a few precautions.
Vigil’s prophecies appear to have been well founded, as a source close to Guzman, who identified himself as Julio “El Tio” Martinez told the press that El Chappo smuggled his way into the Sinaloa region, his native state and base of his opporations, and has been in the mountainous range to the north of Sinaloa state capital, Culiacan.
