Elder Scrolls VI isn’t coming anytime soon
According to HInes, everyone at the studio is working on Fallout 4 and they are 100 percent in on it to ensure the game releases on time.
Despite the fact that Bethesda has announced Elder Scrolls Legends for the iPad and PC, it doesn’t appear we’re going to see another full The Elder Scrolls game for quite a while.
Fallout 4 is one of the most interesting launches of the year and the development team at Bethesda is slowly offering more information on the various tweaks it is making to the core features of the open world and post-apocalyptic formula. Hines even referenced right from the start of the game, if the controller of a level one player in “Fallout 4” decides to max out its strength stats all the way to 10, then that person will also be able to unlock something additional right from the get-go.
Bethesda is also noted for taking their time developing games, and that the entire team is focused on a single project at a time to ensure quality over quantity.
“It’s rare to have franchises like the ones we have and to have people joking about “when is Skyrim 2 coming out?” Pete Hines said in an interview with Telegraph”. That doesn’t mean the game is the only thing Bethesda is looking at. But if you’re a devout swords-n-sorcery kinda person, then prepare for a wait: there’s going to be no Elder Scrolls announcements any time soon.
