Elizabeth Warren Only Female Senator Not To Endorse Hillary Clinton
One by one on Monday night, 13 female Democratic senators took the stage inside the packed ballroom at the Hyatt Regency in Washington, D.C.to raise money and announce their support for Hillary Clinton. Not joining them was Massachusetts Sen.
The day culminated with an event in downtown Washington from endorsement from Democratic senators Tammy Baldwin, Barbara Boxer, Maria Cantwell, Dianne Feinstein, Kirsten Gillibrand, Heidi Heitkamp, Mazie Hirono, Amy Klobuchar, Claire McCaskill, Barbara Mikulski, Patty Murray, Jeanne Shaheen and Debbie Stabenow. But it marks an effort by Clinton to fulfill her party’s desire to use national programs to boost the middle class without alienating independent voters more concerned with increasing the federal deficit.
A spokeswoman for Warren declined to comment on Monday’s event.
Pushed in September about whether she would eventually endorse a candidate, she said, “Right now that’s not where we are”. “I know how deeply and personally you must feel the loss of lives on your watch – not in the abstract but as husbands, fathers, dedicated public servants, people you knew and cared about”, she wrote. Although the content of the email was unknown until Monday – it was a discussion between a New York Times reporter and a spokesperson at the State Department – it and others still under scrutiny by government agencies have been seized upon by those critical of Clinton’s use of a private email server.
Clinton argued in her memoir that Rice “stated what the intelligence community believed, rightly or wrongly, at the time”.
“When women vote, women win and Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States”, added Gillibrand of NY.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton smiles as she…
At least a few of the messages have come back to haunt Clinton during her presidential bid.
Clinton’s blueprint is certainly broad in scope: It aims to bolster not only roads and bridges but also public transit, freight rail, airports, broadband Internet, and water systems. It also illustrates the leverage that Warren holds in an election that Democrats are calculating will be waged on issues of economic advancement and fairness.
In 2012, Clinton talked politics with longtime aide Sidney Blumenthal and former Secretary of State Madeline Albright.
In the unauthorised book, which follows the couple from their days in Arkansas to today, it is alleged the former President “tried to seduce Jackie Kennedy in a wrestling match at her NY apartment”.
Several of those records contradicted testimony Clinton delivered to the select committee on October 22, during which Clinton attempted to downplay findings that emerged through the discovery of her private emails. “I’m being flooded with emails about how you rocked”, deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin wrote. All 14 Democratic women senators, except Sen.
