Ellen Pompeo Criticizes Daniel Craig’s James Bond Comments

When asked if he could imagine himself doing another Bond movie, Craig had a few choice words to say in response. He knew what we were getting at.

The “Spectre” actor just said he would “rather break this glass and slash my wrists”, than to reprise his role as the 007 Agent. Yes, I’ve been working out for six months!

But Pompeo received her own onslaught of criticism when one fan wrote to her, “the media can embellish things”, to which she agreed, “You are absolutely right!”

Meanwhile, although Craig is adamant he’s ready to quit the franchise after the upcoming movie, he recently claimed he’d signed a contract that may require him to make another. Ironically, co-star Christoph Waltz doesn’t share the same opinion with Craig.

“I’m over it at the moment”, Craig told the publication.

However, Pompeo steps back when someone suggests that Craig’s comments could have been taken out of context – a situation that Pompeo is familiar with herself. “It’s not that I’m trying to play hard to get. I’m contracted for one more – but I’m not going to make predictions”. “We’re done. All I want to do is move on”, he said.
